What We Grow

Each year I add a little more to our garden area.  I like that fact that I can experiment with what we grow and how we grow it.  Failing is part of life, that's how we grow.    Stay tuned for more picture to come and how we can our food for the winter.

This year (2024) our garden as grown even more.  We have added an arch for the vine plants and a new area for the herbs (some along the fence lines and some into the mix of the veggies).  Some severe storms took out of Grape Vines so we are working on repairing that area.   The Apple and Pear Trees are growing some fruit for the first time.   Cant wait to see this area continue to grow.   Next year another arch will be added to the first one to expand the vine area.  The purple did great (first year growing), I try the mound method and it grew great.   I mound the dirt up then plant 6 seeds into a circle, wait till corn was 18 inches tall then added pumpkins underneath.
